Our Story

In 2016, a group of family and friends held an event to raise funds for Chase Carlson when he
was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The turnout was far greater than expected and the
generosity was humbling to say the least. This opened up discussion for starting a non-profit.
We have since established the Christian-based Hole-In-One Foundation.
The Hole-In-One Foundation currently holds an annual event at the Oakes Golf Club. This event
includes a golf scramble, gun raffles, silent and live auctions and a free will supper. This event is
currently our main source for acquiring funds. These funds are then dispersed to individuals
and/or families who have acquired a financial burden due to a major life-changing event. All
funds are dispersed at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors is comprised of six individuals who make any and all final decisions
pertaining to the foundation. Those who serve on the Board of Directors do so on their own time
with no compensation.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
